Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation

Our goal is to provide Linfield faculty with technical and pedagogical expertise for the integration and production of educational technology-related strategies and resources. We utilize the best known methods for well-engineered, consistent, and sustainable programs for teaching and learning. If you have questions about BlackBoard, CatFiles, Turnitin, GradeMark, personal response system "clickers", digital video, digital audio, PowerPoint, blogs and wikis or other instructional support resources and tools, we are the ones to ask.

The Faculty Development Lab

The Faculty Development Lab, or Fiddle, opened in 2006 to help Faculty utilize the advantages of technology, while maintaining a solid pedagogical base. Located in Library 138, the lab hosts four high-end Mac desktops and three gamer-quality PC desktops. There is also a wide variety of equipment and software available in the lab to help create multimedia resources and projects.

Fiddle staff are all fully trained in the use of both the equipment and software, though each staff member has areas of specialty. They are available to help with any project. You can email to set up an appointment, or ask any questions you may have.
