Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation

As Director of Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation, I want to welcome you to our web site!

Our goal is to provide Linfield faculty with technical and pedagogical expertise for the integration and production of educational technology-related strategies and resources. We utilize the best known methods for well-engineered, consistent, and sustainable programs for teaching and learning. If you have questions about BlackBoard, CatFiles, Turnitin, GradeMark, clickers, digital video, digital audio, PowerPoint, blogs and wikis or other instructional support resources and tools, we are most likely the ones to ask.

We have created a Faculty Development Lab (opened December 2006) in Library 138, in which we have utilized grant funds to purchase four high-end Macintosh computers and three gamer-quality Windows multimedia computers. We also have a variety of peripherals and software to help you create multimedia resources, along with expertise to help you learn how to use these resources.

A key aspect of our work is to ensure that Linfield's classrooms are well-maintained and equipped with technologies to help instructors teach. We always welcome feedback and suggestions for ways to improve our classrooms.
