I teach literacy, methods, and student teaching seminar courses, and serve as the secondary education coordinator
I’ve taught for over 30 yrs. in public schools in Idaho and Oregon in elementary, middle level, and secondary schools. My teaching experiences include classroom assignments in language arts, math, social studies, science, and performance at the middle and secondary levels, and all subjects at the elementary level. I’ve served as both a special education teacher and a talented and gifted facilitator.
I’ve served as a trainer or presenter to educational professionals in many areas to include: content literacy, differentiation, speaking and presentation skills, teaching to standards, health, classroom management, the talented and gifted learner, middle school math strategies, reading, integrating instructional technology, child abuse identification and prevention, educational politics
A Little About Me
My best Linfield memory has been attending the graduation ceremonies of students I've taught.
My favorite movie is "The Wizard of Oz"
The best concert I ever attended was The Rolling Stones
Reading, cooking, gardening, creative projects, listening to music, volunteering, and spending time with loved ones
