INSTRUCTIONAL DIFFERENTIATION FOR DIVERSE LEARNERS

Course Number: EDUC-260
Description: Introduction to pre K-12 students often labeled as exceptional or diverse learners needing instructional differentiation based on skills, abilities, readiness levels, interests, motivations, and learning styles. Examines attitudes and stereotypes. Explores strategies to meet diverse student needs, matching instructional practices to student characteristics in the classroom and school environment. Prerequisites: 150 and 230, or consent of instructor. Offered fall. 3 credits
