Course Objectives:
At the successful conclusion of the course, the student will be able to:
1. Understand the basic nature of observational studies and experimentation.
2. Use graphical and numerical techniques to summarize a set of data.
3. Analyze a set of data having a normal distribution.
4. Use data to understand relationships between variables.
5. Carry out a variety of procedures involving statistical inference, i.e. drawing conclusions from data.
6. Use statistical software (Minitab) to carry out a variety of statistical procedures.
