Online Certificate Programs
Linfield’s online certificate programs provide continuing education that enables students to build career advancement through a combination of knowledge and experience. Minimum hardware requirements are:
PC - 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended) 56k modem or access to Internet (DSL or Cable recommended)

What are accredited online degrees?
As you research online schools an important consideration is the school’s accreditation. A school achieves accreditation regionally and from one of six U.S. Department of Education recognized bodies. Linfield College is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institutions Act. This authorization is subject to periodic review and authorizes Linfield College to advertise, recruit and offer field placements for specific degree programs. The Council may be contacted for a list of currently authorized programs. Authorization by the Council does not carry with it an endorsement by the Council of the institution or its programs.
