International Business Degree Online

You can complete a Bachelor's degree in International Business Online. All of the courses in the major, Linfield's general education requirements (the Linfield Curriculum), and the math courses required for the International Business major can be completed through online courses. International Business majors are required to participate in an international study experience, onsite in a foreign culture, providing exposure to business practice. Linfield provides international travel courses, and belongs to an international study organization of colleges and universities that provides many opportunities for short term study abroad. Language proficiency, equivalent to the 2nd year of college study is also required for the International Business degree. Students may demonstrate language proficiency by one of three approaches. See Student Handbook, Chapter 3, Degree Programs and Requirements for methods of demonstration. The Language requirement is waived for students whose second language is English.

What Will Pursuing an Online Degree in International Business Be Like?

Internet access and a web browser are all you need to have your own personal classroom. Enjoy plenty of communication with your classmates and professor any time of day, any day of the week.

Online courses are perfect for students with schedules that demand flexibility.
Online classes will require you to post assignments by a certain time each week. You can do most of the work on your own schedule.
You will have separate links for submitting homework, group discussion, and personal communication with your instructor, and tests are done online.
With Internet access you can work from anywhere in the world. This is an ideal program for those who travel.
Expect to spend the same amount of time in an online class as you would in a face-to-face class, and expect to adhere to similar homework deadlines.

A fee is charged for each online course in addition to tuition. Once you register and pay the fee, you will sign up for a Linfield Computer account (if you have not taken any online classes previously with Linfield DCE).
