Welcome to Linfield

Everyone has a dream. You may dream of changing careers, finishing your college degree, or improving your family’s quality of life by earning a higher salary. No matter what stage of life you’re in, your dream for higher education can come true.

To be sure, pursuing college level academics on top of your already busy life sounds challenging.  Maybe even out of reach. But we’ve designed our adult programs specifically for people who juggle work and family responsibilities.

For starters, our online classes fit into your busy schedule.  They allow you to take courses any day of the week, at any time of day or night, and anywhere you have internet access.

Combine that with our flexible enrollment process, and our evening and weekend courses at convenient campuses in Oregon, and you can see how we make it possible for more than 500 adults each year to work toward a Linfield bachelor’s degree.

To learn more about our degree and certificate programs, tuition and financial assistance, and admission requirements, select the links provided or contact us today.

We invite you to join the Linfield community, where dreams come true—for busy people like you.

4/1/2008 Linfield Curriculum Revision Effective in the 2008-2009 Linfield Course Catalog

If you’ve looked at our 2008-2009 year long plan, you will have noticed that the courses now have 4-letter alpha designations rather than 3 letters--ANT is ANTH, BUS is BUSN, MAT is MATH, etc. You will also note that there are no longer any IA, GD, or DA class designations and that there are now CS, QR, GP and US designations. These changes are part of the move to the revised Linfield Curriculum which will go into effect with the 2008 Linfield Catalog this fall.

The document includes a chart which outlines the revision of the Linfield Curriculum and specifies the stipulations which apply to the new system. It also includes the catalog copy that you will see in the 2008 Linfield Catalog when it is available next fall. Please take the time to read it carefully.

This Linfield Curriculum revision is the result of many hours of consideration, discussion, debate and hard work by Linfield faculty and departments. As with any new policy, there are bound to be some questions. Please address your questions directly to your advisor or email dce@linfield.edu and we will do our best to find the answers.
