Linfield RN to BSN student completing international service learning

The curriculum of Linfield’s RN to BSN is community-based and focused on registered nurses becoming leaders in their community. During the last semester of the RN to BSN program, nurses choose a vulnerable population in their local community or internationally, and complete a service-learning experience to serve this population. This experience will be coordinated with one-on-one support from faculty advisors who assist nurses in identifying their population of choice and completing approximately 64 hours of work preparing and implementing a health promotion in the identified community.

You will have the opportunity to build on previous experience and knowledge related to leadership, management, population health, and professional communication. Linfield RN to BSN students are requested by organizations each semester for service learning opportunities throughout Oregon communities.
