Course Description: Seminar examining how science has changed our viewof our world and the universe in which we livethrough critical examination of some of our mostfundamental beliefs and cultural practices.Possible topics: science as a method of discovery;scientific discoveries that change the way humansperceive themselves, their world, and theuniverse; connections between natural sciences,social sciences, and humanities.
