Linfield offers four affordable certificate programs to choose from: Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

Computer Information Systems Certificate
The cost of the CIS certificate varies depending on the track you choose to follow: software engineering, web application development or database administration. Each track has a varying number of credits based on the classes you choose to take. Please refer to the information regarding current certificate program costs above for a general idea of costs. Additional fees include a $400 Computer Science System Development Fee payable at the beginning of your lab based classes, a $30 lab fee for each course meeting in the computer science lab at the McMinnville campus and a $120 online fee for COMP 101 and for COMP 382. An enrollment specialist would be happy to work with you to provide a more detailed estimate of total CIS certificate program costs.
Financial Aid
Tuition assistance may be available through your employer. Also, it is very likely that you are eligible for federal student loans. The one condition is that you complete at least 6 semester credits during each semester in which you want a student loan. Loans generally are sufficient to cover tuition, fees, and books. To apply for financial aid, submit an online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA - school code 003198) and the Linfield Application for Financial Aid (LAFA). Linfield financial aid counselors are available to assist you with planning. Contact the Office of Financial Aid at 1-888-471-2225 or 503-883-2225 or visit our Financial Aid page. Submit the LAFA and the FAFSA online. In addition, you will need to complete an academic plan of your courses with your advisor to be submitted to Financial Aid.
