Linfield College Computer Facilities
Linfield College provides computing resources to support the academic research and instructional activities of the institution. The resources are intended for the sole use of College faculty, staff, students and other authorized users. Computing resources include, but are not limited to, host computer systems, personal computers and workstations, communications networks, software, and files.
Linfield College reserves the right to monitor its computing resources to protect the integrity of its computing systems, workstations, and lab facilities.
Accounts issued to the individuals are intended for the sole use of that individual, and are non-transferable.
The owneris responsible for all usage on their assigned account.
The following types of activities are examples of behavior that are unethical and unacceptable, and in some cases may violate state or federal law:
Policies and regulations of the college, and state and federal law, are applicable to computing resources. Violations may result in the loss of user privileges, access to the campus network, and/or other college disciplinary actions.
