Linfield is an independent, comprehensive undergraduate college recognized for its strong teaching faculty, outstanding academic programs, and distinctive international emphasis.

Chartered in 1858, Linfield is one of the oldest colleges in the Pacific Northwest. It is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and awards three undergraduate degrees - Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

The college consists of three divisions—the McMinnville Campus, the Portland Campus of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the Division of Continuing Education. DCE's Adult Degree Program offers classes online and on campuses in the evening and on weekends for adults who combine work and family responsibilities.
