HUMAN ECOLOGY: PROCESS & PATTERN IN THE NATURAL WORLD

Course Number: ENVS-101
Course Description: Study of basic principles and concepts that describe the structure and function of ecosystems and define human relationships to the environment; how scientists study the natural world and approach environmental problem-solving; the ecological context and evolutionary processes that give rise to adaptation and new species; the diversity and management of biological systems. Lecture and laboratory. $50 lab fee. Offered fall. 4 credits (NW)
