Counseling Staff Information
John
F. Kerrigan, Jr., Ph.D. has been the Director of the Counseling Center at Linfield
College since the fall of 1999. He is licensed as a psychologist in Oregon
and Colorado. John uses a cognitive- behavioral orientation in his counseling
with students and focuses on helping students to overcome the challenges and
problems that are interfering with their college success. He also teaches
the Personal Success Skills course each spring.
Dawn
J. Williamson,
MSW is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who joined our staff
in the fall of 2004. She has had many years of experience in private practice
as well as community social work. Dawn works from a systems perspective
and uses developmental and psychodynamic approaches to counseling. She
enjoys working with individuals, groups, teaching the Overview of Helping Professions
course in the fall and being a part of the C.A.T.S. program. Dawn
also maintains a private practice and has a particular interest in combining
traditional approaches with the expressive therapies of sand, play and
art.
Patti Bonofiglio started work at Linfield in 2006 as a part-time Secretary/Receptionist for The Counseling Center, Career Services and Learning Support Services. She has twenty plus years of secretarial experience.
Tami
Harrell started work at Linfield College's Admission Department in 1997
and transferred to our office in 1999 where she now serves as the Office
Manager for The Counseling Center, Career Services, and Learning Support
Services. She has over twenty-five years of secretarial and management experience.
