High-Five Basketball Camp

Camp Features:

- High-Five Camp is held in the Ted Wilson Gymnasium at Linfield College. This complex includes three full court and six half court gyms,a fully equipped weight room, therapy pool an dlocker room facilities.

- Campers will have an opportunity to go swimming, so bring your swimsuit and take advantage of our eight lane swimming pool

- Parents are welcome to attend during camp hours

Directors: Larry Doty

Coach Doty has been a successful high school and All-American college athlete. In his 23rd season at Linfield, Coach Doty’s program is known for their fast break style, frenetic pace, defensive intensity and hustle. Larry has been running his own summer basketball camp since 1983 and is an outstanding clinician and inspiring speaker.

9:30 Agilities/ball handling
10:00 Fundamentals- Technique Work
10:30 Team practice
11:00 Games
12:00 Lunch
1:00 Open Gym
1:30 Lecture/ demo
2:00 Contest
2:30 Defensive Drills
3:00 Position Work
3:30 Instructional Video- Games/ Mini-clinic
5:00 Dinner
6:30 Shooting Drills
7:00 Contest/ Swimming- Highlight Film
10:00 Lights Out

Other Information:

If your child is attending camp as a day camper, (9am-8pm) lunch and dinner will be provided. If your child is an overnighter, campers will be housed with a chaperon in a dorm on the Linfield Campus with all meals provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner), in addition to a pizza/watermelon feed. Overnight campers will need to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow, towels, personal toiletries, athletic gear, swimming suit, healthy snacks and spending money for chaperoned outings to local convenience store.
