nvest in the future of nursing
Make a difference in the life of a student today

The Need
Since 2005, Eric, the high-fidelity simulation lab manikin, has served the Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing. After going through 5,000 simulations and workting with 1,000 students, it is Eric's time to retire. A new high-fidelity manikin is needed to ensure Linfield students have access to experiential learning and innovative technology.

Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $50,000 before June 30, 2012 to purchase a new high-fidelity manikin. As of May 21, we've raised $46,203 (92.4% of our goal). Will you support this important initiative today?

Why High-Fidelity Simulation?
The use of high-fidelity simulation is now a standard in nursing education. Students practice skills in an environment that simulates actual clinical practice and prepares them to provide quality care to patients. A new manikin is central and critical to the education of Linfield nursing students in the simulation lab.
