Purpose: To recognize and honor alumni that exemplifies professional nursing excellence. This award is named for Lloydena Grimes, nursing leader in the State of Oregon, and Director of Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing for 30 years (1952-1982).
Eligibility: The nominee must be a registered nurse and alumna/alumnus or associate alumna/alumnus of Good Samaritan Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing, or Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing.
The nominee has exhibited nursing leadership as recognized by peers. Describe the impact/outcome of the contributions.

The nominee has displayed commitment to nursing education by sharing clinical knowledge, formally or informally (inservice education, formal presentations, publications). Describe the impact or outcome.

The nominee demonstrates a commitment to education required of the nursing profession. (Examples: Continuing education seminars, advanced degrees, certification in specialty areas of practice).
