President’s Report, State of the College paint solid picture
With the largest freshman class in years and numerous accolades from across the country, the good news about Linfield is spreading. The college has prospered, despite challenging economic times, according to two recent reviews by President Thomas Hellie – the President’s Report and the State of the College address. Students urged to vote with forks
Linfield students were encouraged to "join the food revolution," when noted author and food activist Marion Nestle spoke at Convocation Aug. 31. Nestle told the audience to "vote with your fork and make choices thoughtfully, or change policy." The lecture was in conjunction with the summer common reading assignment of Michael Pollan's In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto.
New dean excited about role

Nursing alumni selected for residency
Up against stiff competition, 14 Linfield nursing alumni were selected from 699 applicants to fill 61 RN residency positions at Portland-area Legacy Health locations. Linfield alumni represent the largest group from any school in the resident cohort.
