In honor of veterans
From nursing to theatre to music, Linfield College students honored Veterans Day in a variety of ways. Nursing students offered free flu vaccinations to veterans, while music students performed a concert featuring “Songs of Sea, Air, Storms, Love and Friendship.” The theatre department produced a benefit performance of “Fifth of July,” with all proceeds from tickets sales donated to the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary of Yamhill County.

Linfield art degree pays off 'Like Crazy'
When Dakota Witzenburg '00 and his business partner created todosomething, a Los Angeles-based custom design studio that specializes in cabinetry and furniture, they may not have envisioned a Hollywood storyline with one of their chairs as the main focus. Yet, that is precisely what happened. Read the story in the Los Angeles Times.
A picture is worth... a Linfield Bookstore card
Linfield’s historic McMinnville Campus is beautiful year-round, but perhaps especially splendid when the brick buildings are offset by the fall colors. Have you taken a photo showcasing the Linfield campus, either Portland or McMinnville, or some other aspect of life at Linfield? If so, enter the photo contest for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Linfield Bookstore. Simply attach your digital image to an email to alumni@linfield.edu. A panel of judges will select the winners.
