CPS Staff

All CPS staff are certified as private security providers by the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) of Oregon.

Rebecca Wale
Director of College Public Safety and Environmental Health and Safety

Rebecca has been with Linfield College since June 2011 and also serves as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety. She has emergency response management experience with more than twenty years serving in the safety field.

Jason Bickell
Senior Officer/Greek Liaison

Officer Bickell has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 1999. Prior to Linfield, he worked for the Marion County Sheriff's Office. He has earned several certifications as an instructor. Officer Bickell has attended the Western Association of College Law Enforcement Administrators Academy and has instructed there since 2001. Jason is Oregon State DPSST certified and holds an advanced license. He is also a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association.

Jose Curiel-Morelos
Senior Officer

Officer Curiel has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2011. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Western Oregon University. Prior to serving with Linfield, Jose worked for Marion County Sheriff's Office. Officer Curiel is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Alaina Mayfield
Administrative Officer

Officer Mayfield has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2012. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Western Oregon University where she served as the Residential Judicial Board Chairperson. Prior to serving at Linfield, Officer Mayfield worked as a volunteer for Newberg-Dundee Police Department in Crime Analysis.

Sean Dillon
Officer

Officer Dillon has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2012. Sean was an assistant site supervisor at a high crime location prior to joining Linfield. He has an extensive background in behavioral intervention and crisis support.

Mary Heite
Officer

Officer Heite has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and has been working in private security since 2003. Prior to working at Linfield, Officer Heite served as security for a large retail shopping center.

Jerry Mitchell
Officer

Officer Mitchell has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2012. Mitchell graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Corrections and Social Sciences. Prior to joining Linfield, he served with the Oregon Youth Authority.

Marty Ransier
Officer

Officer Ransier has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2005. Prior to serving with Linfield he served in the U.S. Army.

Greg Axe
Officer

Officer Axe has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2013. Before serving with Linfield, Officer Axe spent over four years as a Special Campus Public Safety Officer at Oregon State University. Officer Axe attended college at Linn Benton Community College and Linfield.

Gregg Tullius
Officer

Officer Tullius has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2013. Gregg recently retired from the Oregon State Police after 30 years of service.

Christopher Krigbaum
On-Call Officer

Officer Krigbaum has served with Linfield College Public Safety since 2011. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Eastern Washingon University. Christopher has also served as a Reserve Officer for McMinnville Police Department and a Patrol Officer for Albany Police Department. Officer Krigbaum is an Eagle Scout and an alum of Sigma Phi Epsilon.

Roland Kline
On-Call Officer

Officer Kline has served with Linfield College Public Saftey since 2013. Officer Kline has an extensive back ground in safety and security. Prior to Linfield he served as Tribal public safety, high school security, and a Gresham Police Reserve Officer.
