Food Pantry Volunteer (2-4 positions available)

Organizaion: St. Vincent de Paul
Profile: SVdP Food Pantry is the largest food pantry in Yamhill County. We feed approximately 1700 individuals per month. We serve the most marginalized and vulnerable members of our community. We also provide emergency assistance with rent and utilities. We are self-supporting through the sales from our Thrift Store and donations from various community members.
Description: Great nearby location for student volunteers! We are looking for at least two strong volunteers/day who could help in our food pantry. Hours available are 9am- 2pm, M-F. We need volunteers the most on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Requirements: The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (usually less) to help unload food deliveries and then stock it in the pantry. *Please fill out a Community Service Volunteer enrollment form in Walker124 and then contact organization.
