Community Service

Food Drive Volunteer

Organizaion: Rainbow Family Services
Profile: Rainbow Family Services has been serving the Yamhill County community since 1967, serving at-risk youth and families. At RFS we encourage our customers to get in touch with their own dreams and build on their own strengths. Then we help build a bridge to the resources they need to achieve their goals.
Description: Thousands of our neighbors in Yamhill County Struggle to make ends meet, often cutting back on food purchases in order to keep rent paid and the lights on. This year Rainbow Family Services is partnering with the Boy Scouts in their annual Scouting For Food food drive. Food will be donated to families and former foster youth of Rainbow Family Services and to our local neighbors through the Yamhill County Food Bank.
