| Profile: | Rainbow Family Services has been serving the Yamhill County community since 1967, serving at-risk youth and families. At RFS we encourage our customers to get in touch with their own dreams and build on their own strengths. Then we help build a bridge to the resources they need to achieve their goals. Services are provided across a number of programs including the Independent Living Program (ILP) which assists youth in foster care between the ages of 14 and 21 to make the transition to responsible independent living as they enter adulthood. ILP helps youth prepare for all that adult life entails: employment seeking and interviews, access to higher education, finding a place to live, financial management, and developing community connections. |
| Description: | One position available. Need mentor to assist youth with planning and implementation of senior project for high school graduation. Will require weekly meetings with youth to problem-solve, research and assist in preparing presentation including Power Point. |
