Students who possess a baccalaureate degree (earned at Linfield or another regionally accredited institution) may earn a second degree from Linfield by earning at least 30 additional credits in residence, including 15 credits in a second major in a field of study different from the first degree. Residence credits do not include credit through challenge examinations, Advanced Placement, CLEP examinations, or portfolio evaluation credits.
A student with at least 30 credits earned at Linfield may, with prior approval of the Curriculum Committee, spend the senior year at a foreign university.
A course with a minimum of 3 credits during January term is required during the first year on the McMinnville campus for all non-transfer students.
