“Creating Environments for the Educational Process”

The CP&D Department strives to bridge gaps between the academic mission and campus physical and environmental development. Our vision is to create the highest quality and most sustainable physical assets for Linfield College that enables academic programs to grow, develop, and flourish in a financially responsible manner. Our mission is to provide leadership in the development of new or renovated assets that adhere to the principals of sustainability and acknowledges the full cost of ownership.

What we do:

The Department’s responsibilities fall within four broad categories:

  1. Capital asset development, either renovation of existing or new construction, including Portland and McMinnville campuses.
  2. Renovation & Alteration of physical assets, typically spaces within a building.
  3. Sustainability (environmental, social and financial).
  4. Campus Space Planning & Standardization
