ABOUT
Camas is a student-run journal of art and literature published annually at Linfield College. It is funded by the English Department and the Associated Students of Linfield College (ASLC).
Students organize the publication process, beginning with soliciting submissions. Editorial and production decisions rest in student hands, as does the management of the Camas budget. Previous year's editors also share responsibility for the journal's continuity through the selection of their successors.
The name Camas was adopted in 2001 by that year's editors. 2001 was also the first year the journal was perfect bound. Previously, the publication carried the name Test-Marketed Downpour, which
went back as far as the fall of 1983.
