"After Hours," an exhibition of the private work of the McMenamins artists will be featured in the Linfield Fine Art Gallery in the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center from Tuesday, October 13 through Saturday, November 21. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
A reception for the artists will be held on Wednesday, October 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the gallery.
A round table discussion with the artists, open to the public, will occur in the Linfield Gallery on Wednesday, October 14, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For over twenty years, a group of local artists have been lending and amending their styles to suit the walls of a growing cluster of bars, hotels, and movie theaters in Oregon and Washington. These people always seem to have a private stash of paintings and other projects they've done on their own time, for their own enjoyment. Linfield Gallery has assembled a temporary collection of these works.
The Linfield Gallery will exhibit paintings, prints, sculptures, and mixed media works by Lyle Hehn (a former student of the Linfield Art Department), Jenny Joyce, Cathie Joy Young, Myrna Yoder, Joe Cotter, Olivia Behm, Isaka Shamsud-Din, and Kolieha Bush.
To reach the gallery from 99W, turn east on Keck Drive at the McMinnville Market Center in south McMinnville. Turn right at the first street onto Library Court. The art gallery is located in the second building on the left, Building B. Parking is available on the street and in the lot west of Nicholson Library.
