Systematic Botany Class at the Alvord Desert

Students have an opportunity to conduct independent research projects under faculty supervision, to present their work at regional and national meetings and to publish in international journals.

Work Study Opportunities for Biology Students

• 8 Principles of biology teaching assistants-- Open to Junior or Senior Biology Majors
• 2 Principles of biology tutors
• 1 stockroom person-- Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Required: Principles of Biology and would prefer that they also have General Chemistry.
• 6 Upper division teaching assistants for Genetics, Molecular Cell Biology, Microbiology, Immunology and Vertebrate Physiology.
  All positions are at discretion of Biology Department Professors.
