| Description: | An interdisciplinary study of past, present, and future uses of plants, the products made from them, the sociocultural contexts in which the plants are used, their impact on development of human societies, and the impact of humans on plant populations worldwide. Thre hours of lecture/week plus field trips. $50 lab fee. Prerequisites: 211, ANTH 111, or ENVS 102 recommended. Offered every spring. 4 credits (NW) |
