Becoming an ASLC senator is great way to make your voice heard on campus and be a part of making a positive change at Linfield.
There is still one open spot for a senior class senator in the Spring 2017 semester. To apply, email your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you think you would make a good senator to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications will remain open until all spots are filled.
Senators are volunteer positions and meet once a week for Senate meetings, which are Thursdays at 6:30pm in TJ Day 103. There are five senator spots for each class (freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior) for a total of 20 senators. All Senate meetings are open to the entire student body, but only the five official senators for each class are voting members.
Senators must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. If you do not meet this requirement you may petition your GPA to the Senate.
