The Accounting Club serves as a link between students and professional firms. We meet regularly for informational sessions that are led by a variety of firms and organizations which offer professions in accounting. The purpose of the Accounting Club is to give students the opportunity to be immersed in the accounting world and begin networking with professionals. As a club, we also attend events sponsored by the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). The Accounting Club helps to facilitate the recruiting process that takes place among public accounting firms in the fall for internships and full-time positions. You do not have to be an accounting major to join the club. Accounting Club is open to all students, and may prove to be beneficial for students looking to explore career opportunities. If you are anticipating an internship or accounting job in your future, this is a great place to start!
