Alumni and Parents: Refer a Wildcat!

Amy (Chan) DeYoung ’87:
Applying to different colleges can be expensive, so this is a great way for perspective students to connect with Linfield at no cost to them. I knew Natalie was serious about coming to Linfield and that she would be a good fit. It really is simple and took just minutes. You can recommend more than one student.

Natalie Wells ’13:
It encouraged me to look more closely at Linfield and gave me more of a personal feel. When you know someone who went there, they can give you an inside view.

Thank you for accepting our invitation to recruit a future Wildcat. When you recommend a future Wildcat -- simply by completing this short form  -- that prospective Wildcat's application fee is waived, a $40.00 value.  By doing this, you also help the Office of Admission recruit academically outstanding and talented future Linfield graduates.  The Linfield McMinnville (Arts & Sciences) campus no longer charges an application fee.  The McMinnville campus is the entry point for ALL students entering as freshmen (regardless of major) and non-nursing transfer students.  The Portland (Nursing) campus does charge an application fee. To request a fee-waived application for the Portland campus OR to recommend a future wildcat to the McMinnville campus, please complete the following form:

  1. Complete the form.
  2. You will receive an email confirmation (if you provide your email address).
  3. The Office of Admission will process your information and mail a letter to your prospective Wildcat, informing him or her that the Linfield application fee has been waived.
  4. Your prospective Wildcat applies without an application fee!

Prospective students may submit their application for Linfield, fee-free, after you submit your recommendation but before they have received the confirmation letter by bypassing the "fee" portion of the online application.  The Office of Admission will connect the application with your recommendation once both arrive.  However, you must complete and submit your recommendation for a future Wildcat before the Office of Admission receives your prospective student's application; application fees that have already been submitted will not be refunded.
