What are you doing now?
I am currently the Public Information Officer and Media Relations Coordinator for the Mono County Sheriff's Department in California.

Tell us about yourself.
I grew up in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. When it was time to choose a college, something drew me to Linfield, and it helped that I was also a legacy student. After college, I decided to come back to the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California (and Mammoth - being a skier) and see what my new education would bring. I worked in the Public Relations field in Healthcare for several years and am now going on five years in law enforcement/emergency management.

How did Linfield help prepare you for your career?
Even though Business was my major, my time at Linfield built the foundation for an independent career path in my passion of working with people. It built the foundation for my overall educational goals as I just completed my Master's degree in Communications from the University of Denver. Without the amazing education I received at Linfield, I would have not continued on to get my Master's and focus so much on my career.
