Tell us about yourself:
I was a health sciences graduate in 2002, and I worked for a few years in a variety of different jobs. In 2007, I returned to Linfield to obtain my BSN and graduated in 2008. Together these two degrees have provided me with an exceptional foundation of knowledge and have helped me to excel in my career. Since graduation in 2008, I was hired into Labor & Delivery at Silverton Hospital. I worked there until 2011, and was then hired into the role of Employee Health Nurse. This past March I was promoted to the role of Employee Health & Wellness Coordinator.

How did Linfield help prepare you for your career?
With my first degree Linfield exposed me to the expansive opportunities that existed in the health care field. The unique classes that were offered to me, along with the small class size gave me the opportunity to excel. When I knew I needed to add to my education to be able to immerse myself more into healthcare I easily returned to Linfield without hesitation. I knew that I would receive an exceptional education and that Linfield would prepare me to enter the nursing field after successfully completing their program. The professors at Linfield are wonderfully compassionate and truly want the students to be successful.
