Did you find love at Linfield?

Many alumni met their spouses at Linfield. Did you? If so, we would like to hear about it. Send your story and a photo of the two of you to alumni@linfield.edu. Submissions will be posted on the Love at Linfield page on the Linfield College website, and the best story will be featured in the summer edition of Linfield Magazine. Read about the couples who found love at Linfield at linfield.edu.

Linfield loves seeing alumni on the road

These are great opportunities to enjoy time with fellow Wildcats, meet with members of the college and hear news from Linfield. Love working at Linfield

Jeff and Kristi (Vertrees) Mackay '88 and '91 have a great deal in common. Not only are they both alumni but they also both work at Linfield – Jeff since 1988 as associate dean of students and director of housing, and Kristi since 2000 in Career Development. She just finished teaching a January Term class on career exploration in the field of sports marketing. How did they meet and how do they feel about working at Linfield? Hear their stories.

Sustaining the love

Even before becoming a student, Duncan Reid '10 had ideas for Linfield's sustainable future. Once on campus, he founded Greenfield, the campus bike co-op, the student garden effort and the sustainability grant fund, among others. Now, as environmental stewardship and sustainability assistant, Reid will continue the efforts he began as a student to keep Linfield at the forefront of sustainable practices. Read more about Reid's plans for Linfield.

We'd love to feature YOU

Linfield alumni have gone on to accomplish great things, personally and professionally. We have profiled a few of these alumni, including a blogger, a musician, a principal, a Hollywood producer, a college football recruiter and others. Do you have a business or career that you are especially proud of? Take a moment and fill out the Alumni Career Path form, and you, too, could be profiled on the Linfield website.

Wildcats love sports

Linfield softball star Staci Doucette '12 received the prestigious Ad Rutschman Award, honoring Oregon's top female and male small-college student-athletes. The award was presented Sunday night as part of the 61st Oregon Sports Awards, held at the Tiger Woods Center on the Nike World Headquarters campus. Doucette is currently serving as an assistant softball coach at Linfield. Read more about Doucette and Linfield athletics.

Do you love to travel?

Join Linfield alumni and friends for a nine-day tour of England and Scotland. Visit famous London landmarks like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Enjoy guided tours of Edinburgh where you will see the countryside and visit a castle. Walk in Shakespeare's footsteps in Stratford Upon Avon, marvel at Stonehenge and much more. The trip is planned for Sept. 5-14. See the itinerary or request more information.

Show love for Linfield – support a student

We strive to keep the Linfield experience accessible to students from a variety of backgrounds, and you can help. Gifts from alumni and friends make it possible for students to attend Linfield who might not otherwise be able to do so. Whether you choose to support the Linfield Fund, the Alumni Scholarship Fund, athletics or another cause, your gift can help make the difference for students.
