Step 1 - Open yourself to the possibilities

Begin planning your Fall semester classes with an open mind, ready to explore a variety of academic areas. New students are often unsure about the variety of course choices they have to choose from or are determined to only take courses in specific academic areas (for example - if you are interested in being a physician, you might only want to take science courses). Try to let those feelings go - college is your opportunity to broaden your perspective, explore different areas, and try new things.

If you have no idea about a specific academic area of interest...

Through the course reservation process you will be able to put together a schedule that will satisfy Linfield Curriculum requirements while introducing you to different academic disciplines and exploring potential majors and minors offered at Linfield.

If you already have an idea of an academic area or major...

Through the course reservation process you will be able to put together a schedule that allows you to complete prerequisite and introductory courses in your area of interest AND explore courses in the Linfield Curriculum.
