Pre-Nursing Advising (MAC campus)
Linfield College offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at our Porltland campus. Students attending the McMinnville campus can apply to migrate to the Portland campus after completing approximately two years of prerequisite coursework. They will be able to start the nursing major if they are in good standing at the college and meet the following nursing applicant criteria:
- BSN Prerequisite Courses –
- For admission consideration, applicants must have completed all prerequisite course requirements by program start date.
- Prerequisite GPA --
- At the time of application and program start date – students must have achieved a “C” or higher in all prerequisite courses and have a minimum 2.75 GPA in all transferable support courses required for the nursing program.
All students on the McMinnville campus who are interested in nursing are assigned a faculty advisor and also work closely with the Associate Director of Academic Advising. Students interested in nursing must meet with both advisors each term prior to course registration.
