The Office of Academic Advising maintains a library of view books and information regarding medical schools and graduate level professional programs in the health professions from across the country.
Feel free to stop by and review these materials to help figure determine where to apply. The bulletin board outside Walker 124 showcases information regarding regional medical schools, applicant data, and pre-med information. The bulletin board often showcases various health professions and graduate programs on the west coast. The Career Development Office has a library of information on entrance exams and can also offer assistance with interview preparation and writing personal statements.
Consider joining the Pre-Health Society student club. This is a chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Delta National Honor Society for Pre-Health Students.
Any pre-health student is invited to join (athletic training, nursing, doctor, physician's assistant, physical therapy, optometry, chiropractic, etc). The club is a great way to bring people with a common interest together, learn about different health professions, and build up an application for graduate school. Anyone may join!
Pre-Health Society meetings are held every two weeks on Thursday evenings from 5:15-6:15PM in Murdock 105. For more information about the Pre-Health Society and to learn about upcoming meetings, please contact Matt Carlson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
