Parents

Parents play an important role during a student’s time in college. They provide support, a fresh perspective and, in many cases, help the student finance his/her education. The information on this page is designed to inform parents about the advising resources available their students at Linfield.

FERPA(Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)

Under federal law (FERPA), a student's post-secondary grades and academic standing may not be discussed with another party, including parents, without written consent from the student. If a consent form (available from the Registrar) is completed, grades will be mailed at the end of the semester/term. Grades are also available online through WebAdvisor, which a student can access with his/her password.
