Advice for new transfer students: This is what people told me, and you may hear it way too many times, but seriously, get to know the faculty because in this world it is all about who knows you and who can vouch for you, and at a school like this where experienced people with connections are willing to meet with you one-on-one…you best be taking advantage of it because once you're out of here you're on your own to make a name for yourself. I would also strongly advise work study because it is so flexible, and nowhere else will you find employers this flexible around a student schedule. Get to know the people you work for, they are also a great resource! The faculty here is just fabulous, they're worth getting to know!
