6. Read the Common Reading book: Thieves of Baghdad

As an introduction to the complex questions that underpin a college education, and to facilitate conversation among the students in your Colloquium section, all first-year students are required to read Thieves of Baghdad by Matthew Bogdanos. A copy of this text is included in your Orientation packet. Complete your reading by Orientation weekend and prepare to discuss the book with your Colloquium class.
