Human Performance: Physical Activity & Fitness Studies

The Physical Activity and Fitness Studies concentration focuses on fitness and health related fields. The concentration prepares students to work in fitness centers, recreational facilities, and other community health organizations.

GUIDELINES FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

FALL SEMESTER:

  • Enroll in Physical Activity and Fitness Studies major courses
    • HHPA 183 Seminar in Health and Human Movement (may be taken in Fall or Spring)
    • EDUC 150 Foundations of Education
    • Enroll in an INQS (this may also be completed in Spring)
    • Linfield Curriculum
      • PSYC 101
      • Other LC requirements of one of the following, CS, UQ, or VP

SPRING SEMESTER:

  • Enroll in Physical Activity and Fitness Studies major courses
    • HHPA 183 Seminar in Health and Human Performance (may be taken in Fall or Spring)
    • BIOL 212 Human Anatomy/Lab
