LC Portfolio
All students enrolling at Linfield (freshman or transfer) in the 2010-2011 academic year are required to upload a work sample from each class they are taking that satisfies an LC in order to receive the LC credit. The work sample should exemplify how the class meets one of the Linfield Curriculum Objectives.
Instructions for uploading a Linfield Curriculum Objective assignment:
- Log in to blackboard
- Click on 2010FA-IDST951: LINFIELD CURR (LC) ARTIFACTS
- View the video tutorial on the home page.
- Click on assignments on the left hand menu.
- Click on Colloquium LC Learning Objectives.
- Upload a work sample from one of your classes that you think exemplifies one of the Linfield Curriculum Objectives.
- In the text box provide a brief description or rationale as to how the work sample meets the Linfield Curriculum Objective.
- Click on submit and you are done. You can upload as many work samples as you like – be sure to include a brief description/rational for each sample uploaded.
Advising Information
LC artifacts should be submitted to Blackboard (the same respository for the entire academic year)- 2010FA-IDST951: LINFIELD CURR (LC) ARTIFACTS. All new students should be enrolled in this course. For the Fall 2010-Spring 2011 cohort, students do not need to submit LC artifacts for LC courses transferred into Linfield from other institutions.
If a student does not have access to the 2010FA-IDST951: Linfield CURR(LC) ARTIFACTS blackboard site (in the old version 8) then they should contact Jo Meyertons. For all other questions, students should be asking their faculty advisors.
A new repository system, TaskStream Portfolio, will be implemented in the 2011-2012 academic year.
