Walking in the rainBefore you plan your campus visit, it is important to consider what you would like to see and do while you are here.  Remember that certain opportunities like visiting a class and staying overnight are only available during certain times of the year.  We ask that you schedule your campus visit at least two weeks in advance.

  • Meeting with an athletic coach (Monday-Friday, academic year only)
  • Spending the night on campus (High school seniors, Sunday-Thursday, academic year only)

Campus Tour Times
Academic year (September-May): Monday-Friday at 10:00am & 2:00pm.  Saturday at 10:00am & 1:00pm.
Summer months (June-August): Monday-Friday at 10:00am & 2:00pm

Meet with an Admission Counselor
An informal visit with an admission counselor can help you answer those tougher questions relating to the application and admission process, the financial aid process and academic departments.  It will also give our office a chance to get to know you better.  You may want to bring a list of questions and an unofficial copy of your transcript.

Questions to ask your admission counselor (and others)

Stay Overnight at Linfield
High school seniors are welcome to stay overnight with a student host Sunday-Thursday nights. Since Linfield is primarily a residential campus, staying overnight in a residence hall will give prospective students a good idea of what to expect during their four-year Linfield Experience.  Overnight guests are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries and bath towel.  Meals will be provided although students may want some extra spending money for snacks at O’Riley’s (the on campus coffee shop) or to use at the bookstore.  The student host will probably have homework to complete and students are encouraged to bring their homework or other study materials.
