Driving & Parking Directions
Drive time to Linfield from:
Portland – 90 minutes
Lincoln City – 60 minutes
Salem – 45 minutes
Eugene – 2 hours
Seattle – 4 hours
San Francisco – 10 hours
Directions:
Via I-5 south from Portland:
- Take I-5 south to Exit 289 (Nyberg Rd/Tualatin-Sherwood Rd).
- Turn right (west) onto Nyberg Road, which becomes Tualatin-Sherwood Road.
- Keep going, through the city of Tualatin, until you reach the town of Sherwood (about five miles).
- In Sherwood, immediately past the Albertson’s shopping complex, turn left onto Oregon Highway 99W (south).
- Stay on Highway 99W for approximately 22 miles – through the communities of Newberg, Dundee and Lafayette. Then you’ll enter McMinnville on the northeast end of town.
- Stay on Highway 99W (Baker Street) through McMinnville. After about three miles, you’ll see the Linfield campus on your left.
- Pass the main campus entrance at Fellows Street (there’s a 7-11 on the right) and go to the next traffic light (Linfield Avenue).
- Turn left on Linfield Avenue and go two blocks. The Office of Admission (in the Michelbook House) is on the right (south side) at 450 SW Linfield Avenue.
Via I-5 north from Salem:
- From I-5 north, take Exit 253 (North Santiam Hwy) and go west into Salem.
- Follow the signs for Oregon Highway 22 about 10 miles to the traffic light at the junction with Oregon Highway 99W.
- Turn right onto Highway 99W and travel north approximately 20 miles to McMinnville.
- In McMinnville, continue to the traffic light at Linfield Avenue and turn right. The Office of Admission (in the Michelbook House) is on the right (south side) at 450 SW Linfield Avenue.
Parking:
Visitors are welcome to park anywhere on campus. There’s a small visitors’ lot right next to the Michelbook House and a larger lot directly across the street. No parking permits are required on campus – and parking is free.
