Spring Visit Days
Monday, April 6 and Friday, April 17, 2015
Have you been admitted to Linfield? All admitted high school and transfer students (and their families) are invited to join us for Spring Visit Days in April. Students are welcome to spend the night on campus, sit in on a class and learn the ins and outs of the Linfield College experience. Families will hear details about our academic advising process, Orientation program and have a chance to visit with current students and staff. Spend a spring day with us!
Sunday, April 5 or Thursday, April 16 (optional)
4:00 p.m., Meet Overnight Host, Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Campus Center
Students spending the night prior to the event in a residence hall hosted by a current student will be introduced to their hosts. Students will receive their event packet and meal vouchers for dinner and breakfast at the time of check in. These overnight visits are optional.
All student overnight guests must sign an overnight visitor contract. You are welcome to print it out and bring the completed copy with you to campus. Extra copies will be available at the time of check in.
We are unable to accommodate parents or families for overnight arrangements in the residence halls. View a listing of off-campus lodging.
Monday, April 6 or Friday, April 17
7:45 – 8:30 a.m., Registration, Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Campus Center
After checking in at the registration table, we encourage you to mingle with faculty, staff and current students in our student activities and resource fair. A variety of representatives will be available to answer your questions.
8:00 – 10:40 a.m., Class Visit (students only)
Students will receive class details in their event packets. All classes will end by 10:40 a.m. Due to the number of visitors, we cannot guarantee a class visit into a specific course, but will work to accommodate interests in a related academic area. While students are in class, parents and family members are encouraged to learn about Linfield’s general education, the Linfield curriculum, and first-year courses. Students attending a class ending at or before 9:15 a.m. are encouraged to attend, as well.
