Monday, January 20, 2014High School seniors, transfer students and their families are invited to attend Linfield’s Discovery Day in January. You will have a chance to tour the campus, visit with members of our campus community and learn more about some of Linfield’s most remarkable programs-including study abroad and January Term. Throughout the day, you’ll experience first-hand what has made Linfield College such a unique place for over 150 years. We hope you will join us!

Registration & Activities - Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Campus Center
After checking in at the registration table, we encourage you to mingle with faculty, staff and current students in our student activities and resource fair. A variety of representatives will be available to answer your questions, including Career Development, Academic Advising and Student Government.
9:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Discovery Tour - Departing from Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Campus Center
On this student-led campus tour, you will meet several Linfield professors, administrators and current students who will share highlights of their programs and experiences. Along the way, you will have the chance to check out classrooms, our athletic complex and a residence hall.
12:00 -1:00 p.m.
Lunch - Dillin Hall
Join members of the Linfield community for a hosted lunch and conversation in our dining hall.
Nursing: For those interested in our nursing program, a presentation will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the President’s Dining Room with one of our nursing academic advisors. We encourage you to select your lunch and bring it to the presentation.

Have you already applied or been admitted to Linfield? This session will outline your next steps, including the financial aid timeline, class registration and housing process.
High school seniors and juniors who have yet to apply for admission will have the opportunity to learn about the admission and financial aid process, including what the admission committee is looking for in an application.
Transferring to Linfield
This session will focus on the transfer process for students currently attending a two- or four-year college or university. Linfield’s Transfer Coordinators will discuss the transfer admission process, coursework evaluation and transfer credit requirements, and financial aid.
