Driving Directions to Linfield College

Linfield is located in the mid-Willamette Valley on Highway 99W in McMinnville, Oregon. The Office of Admission, housed in the Michelbook house, is at 450 SW Linfield Avenue.
From Portland to Linfield College:
Time estimate: 1 hour, 15 minutes- Take I-5 South to the Tualatin/Sherwood exit (#289).
- Turn right (west) onto Nyberg Road, which becomes the Tualatin/Sherwood Road.
- Proceed through the community of Tualatin until you reach Sherwood (5 miles).
- In Sherwood, immediately past the Albertson’s shopping complex, take a left (south) onto Hwy 99W.
- Stay on Hwy 99W for about 22 miles through the communities of Newberg, Dundee and Lafayette. You will enter McMinnville at the northeast end of town.
- Stay on Hwy 99W (Baker Street) through McMinnville and in about three miles you will see the Linfield campus on your left.
- Pass the main campus entrance at Fellows street (7-11 on the right) and go to the next traffic light (Linfield Avenue.)
- Turn left on Linfield Avenue and proceed two blocks. The Admission Office (Michelbook House) is on the right (South side) at 450 SW Linfield Avenue.
- Parking is available in a small lot adjacent to the Admission Office. There is also a large parking lot directly across the street.
From Portland International Airport and Interstate 84 to Linfield College:
Time estimate: 1 hour, 30 minutes- Take I-205 South to the I-5 Northbound interchange (24 miles).
- Go north on I-5, staying in the right lane.
- Take the first available exit, the Tualatin-Sherwood exit (#289).
- Make a left turn at the light onto Nyberg Road heading west. Nyberg becomes the Tualatin/Sherwood Road.
- Proceed through the community of Tualatin until you reach Sherwood (5 miles).
- In Sherwood, immediately past the Albertson’s shopping complex, take a left (south) onto Hwy 99W.

From Salem and Interstate 5 to Linfield College:
Time estimate: 45 minutes- From I-5 take the North Santiam Hwy exit (#253) and go west into Salem.
- Follow signs for Highway 22, through downtown Salem, crossing the Marion Street bridge.
- Continue west on Highway 22 about 10 miles to the traffic light at the junction with Highway 99W.
- Turn right on Highway 99W and drive north approximately 20 miles to McMinnville.
- In McMinnville proceed to the traffic light at Linfield Avenue and turn right. The Admission Office (Michelbook House) is on the right (South side) at 450 SW Linfield Avenue.
- Parking is available in a small lot adjacent to the Admission Office. There is also a large parking lot directly across the street.
From Eugene to Linfield College:
Time estimate: 2 hours- Take I-5 North to the Exit 228 (Hwy 34) and go west to Corvallis.
- In Corvallis turn right on Hwy 99W about two blocks after crossing the bridge, and drive north approximately one hour to McMinnville.
- In McMinnville proceed to the traffic light at Linfield Avenue and turn right. The Admission Office (Michelbook House) is on the right (South side) at 450 SW Linfield Avenue.
- Parking is available in a small lot adjacent to the Admission Office. There is also a large parking lot directly across the street.
