Residence Life for Transfer Students

Linfield offers a traditional, residential campus experience.  We ask students who are under the age of 21 and/or who do not have senior standing (94 credits) to live on campus. 

If you are a...

Freshman or sophomore (with less than two years of college coursework completed) you will be offered a wide variety of residence halls to enrich your campus living experience. We will work with you to ensure a positive living environment and a roommate who matches your level of college experience.  

Junior (with two years of college work or more completed) you will be eligible to live in on-campus apartments. On campus apartment living is comparable to off-campus apartment living, only more convenient. "Rent" is paid at the first of every semester and it is a short walk to class and campus activities.

Senior or over 21 you are welcome to live in on-campus apartments or off-campus.
