Our alumni are attending some of the top graduate and medical programs in the country, including Yale University, Oregon Health & Sciences University and University of Washington. They are employed at Nike, Operation Smile, the World Bank, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

From the first conversations in the Colloquium program and continued with faculty advisors, Linfield students are guided through their four years to explore their options, declare their major and complete their requirements while taking advantage of a wide variety of hands-on experiences and extracurricular activities.

As an institution that focuses entirely on the undergraduate experience, all courses are taught by faculty - 93 percent of which have their terminal degree. Professors don't just teach classes, but also lead research projects and trips abroad, and provide guidance toward internships and graduate programs.

50% Study abroad
Students have three options for a study abroad experience - a four-week intensive course focusing on a specific topic, a four-month cultural immersion or a year-long language focused program. Linfield offers 16 countries for semester and year-long options, and 10-15 January Term course options each year. As encouragement, Linfield covers the cost of the first, round-trip airfare abroad.
25% Playing varsity sports
Linfield athletics have a strong tradition of success: the football program boasts 56 consecutive winning seasons - more than any other college in the country, the softball program won the national championship in 2007 and 2011 and the baseball program consistently competes for the national title. All 19 programs compete in the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference.
